The guy is good, but Alabama's DBs are future NFL players too.
Just because they have a future at the next level, doesn't mean they can cover anyone.

Can Roman Harper cover Calvin Johnson? Both are at the next level.

very difficult. Bama has good DBs, but that may not be enough

The key will be getting enough pressure on the QB to not allow him to find Randle on the deep ball

RR is the best WR in the SEC, bar none. He will be the best they have faced, and I garuntee you Saban doesnt ask any one of them to cover RR 1 on 1

I think we both know Roman Harper can't cover ANYONE

but like I said I think the key to minimizing Randle's impact will be getting pressure on the QB and forcing him to throw the check downs

Im glad you think yalls WRs that Ryan Mallett made look like all-stars are better than the SEC's leading WR who catches balls from Jarrett Lee

I'd take a few WR's over Randle...not just from Arky either

He's in the wrong scheme.

Roman's a hitter, not a cover guy.

Oh, I agreed with this earlier.

Oh my. An NFL safety can't cover the best WR in the NFL so that means future NFL corners can't cover a future NFL WR?

Is Randle a Calvin Johnson talent?

So you are going to nitpick.

Fine.

Can Roman Harper cover Lance Moore?

My point was his saying that you guys having NFL talent on D, means they can cover Randle as a function of that.

Probably not very well. But why are we talking about safeties? Roman Harper has been a safety since college, probably been a safety forever. There is a reason for that. Kirkpatrick and Menzie are high round prospects at corner. There is a reason for that too. They can cover people. They will have their hands full with Randle, but they can hold their own.

DaRick Rodgers
AJ
Hunter before he got hurt
Cobi Hamilton
Joe Adams

Not trying to downplay his talents, but he gets his yards as a primary target in a offense that doesn't rotate as many as others....Stats at WR doesn't impress me seeing 2 different Houston Nutt WR's lead the SEC in Receiving...One was also was approaching a TD record as well

I also think LSU WR's run lazy routes...JMO

Where is Menzie projected to go in the draft? Just curious.
