I say Hilliard has the most.
The RB totem pole probably won't be established till fall practice is about done but I really like Hilliard. I think he is going to be great this year. As far as the yards it will really depend on how much of a green light CLM gives to Stud to throw downfield. I don't think anyone knows right now.

Provided the D allows them to play with a lead
the Tide will carry the ball 500 times at an average of 200 yards per game.
Whoever is the feature back @ Bama should get 1200 of the seasons' 2800 yards total rushing.

So basically in the last 2 seasons that he has played much at all he had an injury. I call that injury prone from the latest sample of evidence that we have. What do you call it?
No, I don't consider 2 injuries in 5 years injury prone. If I were you I'd be a little worried by the fact that even while he was limited, Lacy managed to put up comparable numbers to Ware, Ford, Hilliard and Blue. Imagine what he's going to do next year at 100%.

Why in the world would I be worried about this?
ETA Look I hope the guy stays heatlthy gets his 3000 yards w/ 50 TDs and replaces Jim Brown as the best running back of all time at any level....but at this point what has he done to make me believe he can get through an SEC season.....not a whole helluva lot.

I would not be stressin' to have four eggs in my basket LSU style.

So the LSU fanbase feels lacy isn't in the same league as davis or lattimore because he can't stay healthy. Davis and Lattimore are the top 2 in the league by far yet both are coming off severe injuries (couldn't stay healthy) is that right?
Eddie Lacy is better by a than any back on LSU's roster and it drives their fans crazy to admit it. This will be evidenced by his production and where he gets drafted. DWI

This is some homer BS right here......no way he has a sample size big enough to see this....just because he spouts off some crap about being like a playstation back and using the circle button.....spare me this trash.
I think the tale of who is the best back in the SEC is already scripted to be either Davis or Lattimore.....I honestly don't think Lacy or any single LSU back will get enough carries to challenge them.
ETA: The difference between Davis/Lattimore and Lacy is that Davis and Lattimore have shown that they can take the lion's share of the carries throughout a full SEC season....Lacy not so much.

I didn't say that - I think Lattimore is the best because he's proven it with a less impressive supporting cast than either Bama or LSU (albeit he had a better QB for a while). However, your point is well taken - Lattimore's return from injury will be something to watch - can he regain his pre-injury form and will he re-injure the knee?
The problem for ya'll is more troubling - Lacy got hurt as a senior in HS, and now he has turf toe - I would not be confident of my feature back overcoming turf toe, if it is serious enough. He missed all of the spring, and hopefully that's enough rest for it to recover. However, if he rushes back too quickly, and the turf toe becomes chronic, that could be all for him. Turf toe is the injury that drove Jack Lambert into retirment, and he's one of the toughest football players in history, period.

This. You gumps are more delusional then ever. Unbelievable.

While both have done this over the course of one season, both have also been knocked out with season ending injuries in other seasons.
Again, this is the same argument people used against ingram when he took over for coffee and richardson when he took over for ingram. The whole "let's see him do it as the #1 back" is blown way out of proportion at a school where the backs rotate as much as alabama. I think the fact that Lacy has gotten a significant amount of carries when 2 first round backs were on campus should tell you all you need to know about his talent. If Lacy were at LSU he would split carries with the others, but he would be listed first on the depth chart

Lacy is going to be good but he doesn't have the resume of Latt or Davis. Just like Mett doesn't have the resume of other SEC QB's. So let's not give either the Heisman just yet. Ford actually had similar numbers to Lacy last year. Saban will spread out the carriers more this coming year IMO.
I can't see us doing that. Lacy will get around as many carries as Trent and Mark did, and is talented enough to put up similar numbers. No one worried about McElroy his first year or McCarron his first year, so they stacked the box. They can't do that with Lacy because McCarron can make you pay, we've seen it. The only reason our Flea Flickers work is because it's the ultimate PA, the RB DOES run with the ball, so everyone comes for him, but when he tosses it back McCarron has the arm to throw it deep enough so that a speedster like Kenny Bell can go get it. No one will stack the box against Lacy, and the O-Line and BMW will dominate everybody's front seven except LSU's, in which case that is practically a stalemate.

That is how close Lacy was to those two with significantly less carries, and playing during big boy time just like they did.
Lacy is not as good as Davis or Lattimore, but if they both get injured again he's a first rounder. Hell, three RBs went in this past draft in Round 1, I'd say 2 will this year just off of a guess. If Lattimore or Davis have lost a step due to injury Lacy is a first rounder.
Let's just be glad that the three best RBs in the nation (Montee Ball is good, but he was beating down on B1G Defenses and had Russell Wilson helping him out a lot.) are in the SEC.

Why is it based on last years draft. What about the year before? You don't know how many rb's will be taken in the first. Just saying stupid shite again.

This board has really shite the bed today....I mean Bama fans are starting threads for every random thought that pops into their collective heads......it is strange to say the least.

Good God do you people ever read and comprehend at the same time? I said "I'd say 2..." it was just a prediction.
