Auburn will be a relatively tough out for any team this year, though not sure they have much of a chance to beat A&M, UGA or Bama. Your main problem is inconsistency and Jake Holland being a starting linebacker in the SEC.

Agreed. Not much we can do about Holland at this point but hopefully the consistency improves.

Not liars, just diplomatic.

not to be a downer but every time auburn scored to try and "keep the game interesting," LSU scored within in minutes right after that. this game wasn't as close as you guys think it was.

this game reminds me of the WVU game in 2011. LSU gets up big then plays it safe and gives up yards to melt the clock.

I think Auburn is moving in the right direction though and probably faught harder than LSUs staff expected.

if LSU was coached by someone like Sumlin you would have lost that game 55-14.

LSU should fire Miles and hire Sumlin?

That's being EXTREMELY generous.

It was closer than the score indicated. One foot on the offside kick, and AU could have scored another at the end of the 4th qtr. on top of that. A couple of plays were the difference between a tie and AU losing by two TD's.

To be fair, AUs first drive they were moving the ball then they shot theirselves in the foot by the fumble and then the ball slipped outta the punters hands. LSU was gonna be tough enough without making those mistakes.

Auburn isn't there yet. However, they haven't rolled over and died like tenn... Auburn is on its way back to 3rd in the west.

I don't know about Hill (I suspect he's taking lessons from Miles) but in his own words, Les Miles says, "I am relatively honest and somewhat deceptive".

TIFWIW

I've seen a Les Miles team take a knee inside the opponents 10 yard line with over 5 minutes left in the game.

Really not sure I would want another 5 minutes on the clock in the AU game. LSU put starters back in and still were ineffective.

Once you quit, it's hard to get moving again.

When yall were 52-3 against Ole Miss. That was a complete beatdown. But AU was coming back in the second half on this game.

Probably, but you also have to remember LSU substituted liberally in the 3rd and 4th. Late in the 4th, the starters returned but were not very effective.

I think Marshall grew up in that game, but he is still going to be a turnover machine.

Finished it for you.

Sorry, Auburn just isn't a good football team this year - better luck next.

A false start away from being a one score game with about a minute left with time to do a onside kick. But yea we are way too inconsistent and make stupid mistakes. We got a ways to go right now.
