Yeah. Fournette is a more talented RB.

Yea, but lets see if he has the mental aspect to play in the league. From what I saw of him on the sidelines in those losses, he looked like a scared, lost little kid.

or maybe he looked like all players do when their team is getting boat raced. have you ever watched march madness when a team is about to get knocked out? Fournette knew LSU's SEC title hopes, playoff aspirations, etc were basically gone at the end of that Alabama game.

but what? but, when you base a player's entire career off of one game? yeah, i think it's pretty ignorant too

The best players perform at high levels in the biggest games. He didn't do it. Stop belly aching. You all excusing the mental aspect of the game completely. He looked as defeated as Les did on the sidelines. Henry is physically tough and mentally tough and that makes you an all around player, not just being faster or more agile.

People saying it's all about hype are correct. But a player has to give the media a reason to hype. Henry had huge games down the stretch and in several games he put the team on his back, thus creating hype. LF disappeared for a little while so he was forgotten. Blame that on whoever you want (OL, LF, Les.. I don't care). Whether that's the way it should be voted on is irrelevant. But that's the way it is.

He didn't show up in November when it matter. End of story.

Get your fricking facts straight. I am sick and tired of hearing this lame arse excuse from most of the jack arse fans on this site. Before I will go on I will say that Henry deserves every award he has received. But, for everyone saying that Fournette didn't show up in November is a bunch of shite and it's sicking how everyone including the media has tossed this kid to the curb!

To have him #7 right now in the Heisman voting as of today is pathetic to this young man. He broke the single season rushing record at LSU(77') and still leads the NCAA in rushing yards per game. Now, his stats from the month of November being "you" along with everyone else who has said he disappeared in November.

389 Rushing Yards 2 TD's
151 Receiving Yards

Stats not even close to someone who so called disappeared in the Month of November.

LSU's 4 opponents in November:

Alabama
Arkansas
Ole Miss
Texas A&M

Alabama's 4 opponents in November:

LSU
Miss St.
Charleston Southern
Auburn

And he has a grand total of 133 more yards than Fournette and played two more games. Congrats.

No, what's pathetic is that you're all buried so far up the elephant's arse that you think everything should go Bama's way. They're both extremely talented running backs. Same for Cook. He's been pretty phenomenal also. At lot of people are upset that LF (and Cook) didn't even get an invite.

Tone down your fricking man-love for everything that is Alabama and understand that not everything in the universe is centered around your inbred university.

FWIW - No knock on Henry but I think McCaffrey should win the Heisman. Out of the 3 finalists he's the better all-around player and most valuable.

Oh and...

Where did Arkie, Ole Miss, and AnM rank in rush defense when L5U played them?

Oh, he ran over Auburn. Wow! Almost as impressive as Eastern Michigan and Syracuse

Lol your boy needed 46 carries against auburn to pass LF7 on the year.

Boom... 19 carries vs 46 carries....

Could also compare Florida games too... Took DH 42 carries to get what Leonard had on 30...

But no, just keep pretending LF played no one ;)

that's about as relevant as auburn being a top 20 team when LSU played them and Florida being top 10 and Syracuse having a top 20 rush defense

The rest of the team did too. He's a damn good football player, but he's still just a football player. I don't care how many times the phrase is used, no one player can put a team on their back.
