It is funny that some bama fans say how well Henry did this season while others are saying that LF7 or McCafery (mostly him) was the best football player in America

It's pretty simple. Henry got more votes. I didn't vote for Obama but more of my fellow americans did. So, he's president and there's not a damn thing I can do about it. Same with Henry. He has the stiff arm trophy and there's not a damn thing any of you assholes can do about it.

Let's be intellectually honest here for a moment. DH2 could have rushed for 3,000+ yards, 10ypc, scored 40+ TDs...it really doesn't matter. Someone would come on here with a contrarian view because they hate Bama, want to believe they have some special enlightenment and/or are the smartest person in the room, just want to stir shite up or a combination of the afore mentioned reasons. Debating the merits(or lack thereof) of their viewpoint yields nothing but a post count because the motivations are easy to spot when the argument isn't genuine.

Reality is DH2 won, deservingly so, and that's just how it is and no amount of feigned outrage will change that simple fact.

TDs for a RB are all about opportunity, almost anyone can score from 1-2 yards out with Alabama's OLine.

McCaffrey was afforded the same opportunities as Henry. Their oline was just as good or better than Alabama's in short yardage situations with a higher success rate on third/fourth and short and a lower percentage of negative runs allowed.

Stanford's starting OLINE and recruit ranking at position in HS (per ESPN)

OT - Kyle Murphy #4 OT
OT - Casey Tucker #5 OT
OG - Joshua Garnett #3 OG
OG - Johnny Caspers #99 OG
C - Graham Shuler #44 OT

Now what was their overall rating compared to Bama's starting 5? Most of the bama guys were top 100 with guys like Cam being a top 5. Cam is also probably going to end up a top 5-10 draft pick as well.

He would? You said multiple times the Heisman winner would only come from a playoff team.

What changed?

Yes he won but in all honesty DH is not Heisman caliber. He is a very good college back running behind an even better offensive line. He is at best a mediocre player at the next level in my opinion.

It's not complicated. McCaffrey had two games against Midwest opponents...ND and Northwestern...and he didn't have very good games against them. No surprise that Henry carried the midwest.

McCaffrey wouldn't even start at RB for the better SEC teams. That's about all that needs to be said.

And that has absolutely zero to do with him as a college player.

It's hilarious the con Henry was able to pull on the Heisman voters, as well as the Maxwell, Walter Camp, and Doak Walker voters. And the coaches All SEC and AP All American voters. He fooled them all into thinking he was more than mediocre somehow.
Greatest scam ever.

If only they had the insight of some anonymous internet coach potato that probably never played an organized sport beyond Jr High.

That OL was ranked around 90th in negative plays allowed, if anything Henry made them look better than they were.

Regardless of whether or not you think McCaffrey should have won, this is an utterly stupid remark. And you guys can't figure out why we're laughing our asses off over your comments about your new DC? It's because we've grown accustomed to reading nonsense like this.

Or it could be that Henry can be tackled much easier if he doesn't have a three yard running start? He isn't the most agile after all.

You obviously didn't watch many Bama games, it wasn't like it was just Henry getting hit in the backfield, but Drake, Harris, Coker, and Ridley on some early jet sweeps.

Really? He busted records of previous SEC great Heisman winners in a pass happy era. You start getting up in the rare air with the likes of Bo, Herschel, and Tebow...how can you not be mentioned as Heisman worthy? If we are dealing in honesty and reality your claim is way off base and biased against Henry...
