Because LSU football is just about the biggest thing in the state. The entire state is about LSU football 24/7.

The State may have an NFL team but LSU is still the most popular team in the state by far.

Go look at what O's salary was on the LSU books and what his actual salary was, and the difference is made up by donations. I was actually surprised to see that Washington State's football coach's full salary was on the WSU books, do they not have boosters? Probably gives you a little insight into how the SEC has been so much more successful than these other conferences and why particularly Wazzu has been so shitty so often.

Shrimp!

You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, and saute it. There’s shrimp kebabs, shrimp Creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan-fried, deep-fried, stir-fried. There’s pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, etc

I got my Excursion airborne and about broke the kids' necks doing 60 through Shreveport on I-20.

That has more to do with the shitty suspension on your 20 year old car than the roads. My Audi does just fine through Shreveport, only bent 1 wheel.
