Get the Dallas Cowboys to play in their stead.

Ole Miss had 133 yards passing, 75 of it on 1 play, and they may be the best deep ball passing team in the SEC. I feel pretty good about our defense of the deep ball.

Tv coverage didn't do it justice, but the UA secondary and pass rush combo earned its $ (both scholarships and chargers included) on Saturday. The secondary had its hands full with Brown, Metcalf, and Lodge. Taamu played well, but wasnt given a lot of opportunity or time, which affected accuracy. And, when the ball was there, the UA DBs made one tremendous play after another on it... near perfect timing to deflect ball after ball.

Surtain certainly grew up covering Metcalf. I'll hand it to the UM O. They never quit pressing, it was just an intense D effort.

If UA brings the same intensity and focus against aTm, it will get ugly for the AGs.

A&M should milk the play clock all nite to let their defense rest. Less TOP for Bama means lower score. In the end, the outcome won't look so bad.

Playing solid, disciplined defense and not turning the ball over, for starters. Find a way to keep it close; let it come down to the kicking game.

If you can do that, you have a puncher's chance. Won't be a walk in the park, though....

A lot of folks are giving great advice on how to beat Bama back in 2013, but Saban has evolved with the game. With Tua slinging it to three deep threat receivers as opposed to one, it requires a slightly different approach. Reminds me of an old expression I think of when facing a daunting task, "How do you eat an elephant?"..."one bite at a time." Jimbo runs a pro style offense, no need to try and be Clemson and go fast. Don't fall for the Bama mystique. I suspect Bama beats a lot of teams in their heads in pre game warmups. Just be aTm, take a balanced approach. Arky state ran for over a hundred on Bama, aTm can do it too. Run the ball and throw off of play action. Be patient, rushing yards will be hard to come by at first, but they get easier as the game goes on. Take your time, the longer Mond takes to snap the ball, the less time Tua has on the field. On defense throw the kitchen sink at Tua. Hit him hard and often. He is a young qb after all and Bama has struggled to pick up blitzes. See if you can rattle him. Might not be able to rattle him but you absolutely can not let him sit in the pocket because he is way too accurate and will pick you apart. I know he can run, but flushing him out is the better of two options. He is a little loose with the ball at times, might be able to get a strip or two. He is not as accurate when he is not stepping into his throws also. make him throw on the run. Do your tackling drills every day this week, aTm must not miss tackles on the Bama running backs. Of course protect the ball, aTm must win the turnover battle, and use as much misdirection and trick plays as possible. Bama has an aggressive defense, and misdirection plays will make those lb's think twice about over pursuing. Good luck Aggies, you'll need a lot of that too.

A mobile QB. That has always been the soft spot for Saban.

This isn't really true. Mobile QB's have had success against Bama, but they've done it with their arm more than their legs. Manziel and Watson being the lone exceptions to that. He killed us with both. It takes a near flawless game from the QB, regardless of the style QB, to beat Bama's D. For every mobile QB that has had success(Manziel, Tebow, Newton), there's one that is not so mobile(Garcia, Bo Wallace, Kelly.)

They can't! Bama would need to have like 6-7 to's for a&m to have a chance. Bama is playing on a different level with Tua at qb. They will score at least 45-50 against a&m and a&m will score 14-17 at best. This is not a cut against TAM, it's because Bama is very explosive on offense this year.

The answer can be found in Alabama's losses to OU, Clemson, Ohio State over the years.

A good solid, mobile QB who can accurately pass and run is Alabama's kryptonite, as he'll destroy their secondary every time. Tempo helps with a strong run game, their linemen eventually run out of gas.

But Alabama feeds off of your typical, SEC pro-style offense. Texas A&M will get destroyed in this game.
