If you can Get Alabama's defense to take 80+ defensive snaps, you have a chance. If your offense is in the 60 snaps range put a fork in it.
You are all operating in the old world of Alabama wanting to grind out 300 rush yards and only throw on play action type plays and grind out long drives. That doesn't exist anymore.
Also, our struggle is with QBs who can move around and also are excellent deep ball throwers. Nobody cares if the guy can move around but can't beat us deep down the field. We destroy those guys. See Kelly Bryant.

I agree with you on special teams. Special teams versus special teams, bama can be beat.
IMO, the key to beating bama is to play bend but do not break defense. Make them score field goals and rely a lot on their special teams.
If A&M can score a touchdowns on two possessions and can hold bama to two field goals for the game average then obviously A&M can win.
I think that's the formula for A&M to reach their highest probability of 5% to beat bama.

Alabama looks like a beast that will destroy everyone. We have seen teams look this dominant not win it all so you still have to play the games. 2003 OU looked unbeatable. They beat some lower level program 77-0 and several other beat downs.
It looks like its going to take them having an off day. An opponent playing their best and getting several lucky bounces. Not likely but its possible. Now straight up and them playing decently no one will beat them.

Point taken...I should have added a mobile QB that can make at least intermediate throws down the field. Kelly Bryant definitely can't do that sir...That is why is has maybe one or two more starts before Trevor Lawrence takes his job. This kid makes passes the KB in his wildest dreams can't make...but that is another topic.
Anyway, A&M has a QB that is mobile and can make throws on the run...

Agree, though he been inconsistent at it. He did it against us last year and did it against you guys. He has the ability to cause problems for us for sure.

Yea, you guys are in a very similar spot to us last year. Bryant is tough and solid and I'm sure the team loves him. He grinds it out and has won a ton of games. But......he just doesn't have the ability to do the things Clemson will have to do against elite defenses, and Lawrence clearly has the skill set. Crazy how similar a situation it is to what we had last season.

aTm will have to score at least 45 points to win this game. They won't. They might cover the spread, but their chances of winning are about what La. Monroe's were last week.

How CAN A&M beat Bama?
In their sleep, with a baseball bat.

Ole Miss has given the blueprint for beating Alabama.
Step 1 - Alabama must commit around 5 unforced turnovers. Preferably on kickoff returns.
Step 2 - throw 25 fly routes and pray that a couple of them bounce (literally) your way.
Step 3 - weather the furious comeback attempt in the 4th quarter.

a good enough offense to not turn it over and get a first down here and there
I don’t think that’s going to cut it paired with your other two. I’d argue the opposite. You need an elite defense and an offense capable of quick strike touchdowns or explosive plays. Consistently sustaining drives isn’t going to happen against Alabama. From a personel standpoint I think Georgia and Ole Miss are the two in conference with the guys at QB and WR to produce big plays consistently. Ole Miss only managed one of them and pairs it with an historically bad defense. Georgia would be a dog fight.
I mean I know what you did there, describe LSU the way you see them to build that hope. I don’t fault you, but “don’t turn it over and get a few first downs” will get you ran out of the building. The Alabama offense with Tua might be slowed down but nobody is going to stop it. Bama will play pick your poison all year and he’s too accurate with the ball to stop the offense. 3 elite receivers and a good tight end just can’t be covered perfectly for 4 quarters. Beating Alabama is going to require 30+ points
On top of that they have two defensive touchdown in 3 games and had a special teams touchdown called back. To beat them you’ll have to keep pace on the scoreboard. There aren’t going to be any 17-10 Alabama games this season

I mean, I know what you did there, describe the Bama offense as if they had faced an actual defense yet, but I can guarantee you that it will struggle some when it finally does.

The kid came in cold against Georgia with 5 other freshmen. Let’s continue to pretend like that didn’t happen when we’re asking “who have they played”
You think it’s a juggernaut now just wait until next year

I like your confidence, kinda like when you said Bo Scarborough would be better than Leonard Fournette.

I really don’t see how A&M can. They’re apparently about on par with Clemson, and Bama would beat Clemson like a rented mule.

Easier said than done but the team has absolutely nothing to lose as just about everyone will pick Alabama to roll and everything to gain. The talent level is there. The chip on the shoulder will be there. Those are dangerous teams to contend with.
You have a game to lose and no, the talent is not the same as Alabama's. I dont think anyone gives a crap about TAMU so why is there a chip on their shoulder?

Play defense and execute in the passing game
