It is game 3, look where he had/has Ole Miss. Brian Kelly was terrible and his previous team had to be purged.

Lane is awful. LSU did them a solid by taking him off their hands.

Is that how we want to look at it now? LSU should be everyone’s favorite now.

Maybe, but do you really expect anyone to win "anything of note" in one year of a rebuild at Tennessee or at USC with a postseason ban and roster limits?

No, but at the time both USC and Tennessee were bluebloods by any definition....and he was a dismal failure at both places. LSU is blueblood adjacent but they ain't what Tennessee or USC was before they got on the Lane Train and neither is blue blood adjacent today, in part due to Lane Kiffin at USC and almost in the entirety at Tennessee...the jury is out on Ole Miss because of a near generational talent in Chambliss....but they are far more likely to wind up in Tennessee land than Alabama land after getting on the Lane Train.....

I’m trying to imagine being dumb enough to throw money at Lane Kiffin.

It was easy. My Ags hired Jimbo.

Limbo Kiffin has a ring to it

Good lord there is a lot of nonsense on this board. I can't wait until Saturday when Ole Miss moral victory week is over.

I don’t think you understand what “moral victory” means.

Right, im sure he wont improve after game 3 of year one

Golding is in game four of year one.

Kiffin is in game 173 of year 15.

Btw Golding has a 3-1 record vs the top 10 and 3-1 vs top 25 on neutral fields.

What’s Kiffins record? 1-9 on the road/neutral field vs top 10 and 6-16 overall.

Pete halfway there with another 164 games to pass.

I am about as far removed from being an Ole Miss fan as one can get but when you have more points than your opponent after the final seconds tick off the clock that is called an actual victory, everywhere but Michigan, and not a moral victory.....
