How bad does signing several juco players(5 or more) stunt a rebuild?

I have heard that Jucos always come back to bite you when you go overboard and sign more than 2 or 3 in one class? You have a hard time replacing the Jucos when they graduate with developed talent and You end up having to replace some of them with frosh or soph. from the classes that follow. It seems like you might prolong the rebuild process and could have a big dropoff in the season following the graduation of a big Juco class.

We signed four. One has three years eligibility.

I have had a bit to drink tonight, but this makes no sense.

The trick is to have RS Fr and Soph's already on the roster, and to sign a HS kid or two in the same positions.
That way you get some competition for the starting jobs, build depth, and hopefully get the instant boost if the JUCO players are top notch. It seems in most cases the juco player still takes a year to adjust and get up to speed.

I understand signing a few to fill spots like A&M but I have not seen anyone sign so many as Auburn. It could be a brilliant idea by them I have just always heard it will come back and bite you. I guess we will see but just wondered what everybody else thought about it?

Bill Snyder has won 170 games including 9 10 win seasons on the backs of JUCOs and transfers.

Sorry you can't comprehend....oh well!

How many has auburn signed compared to the rest of the world. Please elaborate.

It's obviously not the ideal choice but when you need immediate help I don't see the problem with it. Gives you time to ease your younger guys into playing roles.
By the way, we've only signed three and looking at one or two more.

Auburn's recruiting class is ranked well every year. Why would they need to?

You ain't gonna argue because auburn has not signed anything different than the rest of the NCAA. If you are going to say this shite at least defend it.

oh ok, I was under the impression from reading some other boards that Gus may sign up to 8 maybe more?

I ask a question...if you don't like it I really don't care, comprehend that?

You asked a question then followed up with a ridiculous statement.

To answer your op,
How exactly does filling seniors spots with freshman and sophmores not go along with status quo? If you have spots to fill, it is much better to pull from juco then high school. Juco is far more proven(much better talent pool of competition) you gain roughly the same amount of years of competition. Most don't play freshman, unless superior talent, which is not a large percentage.

Them Bama butt kickings have really got to you! It is common knowledge that Auburn is recruiting several Juco players, more than I can remember them or any other SEC team recruit in one cycle. Common Knowledge I tell ya!!! If you don't agree with what I said that is fine but you don't have to cry cause the big Bully Bammer is saying mean stuff about your Tigers! LOL

Your post reeks of bama insecurity.
Bama first in your heart, auburn first in your head.
So common knowledge, aye?
More than you can remember? Like 1 hr
You think? Maybe? Might? Would of? Could of? I think? I heard?
