Interesting. I don’t see LSU on this list.

Wait, so you're saying LSU football loses money, Reek?

No, LSU did. I simply posted the financials they provided.

Which do you prefer?

That Alabama has more money than LSU and Alabama had to buy the whippings they have continually put on LSU’s arse in football and basketball?

Or that LSU has more money than Alabama yet still got dog walked by Alabama by a combined 2-16 record this decade in football and basketball?

Kiffin has always wanted the Bama job but is simply not even on the short list for potential hires. LSU was the best available open position, or he would be in Gainesville right now.

They said the same thing about BK when he was hired at LSU. "He has been to the NT game, he just needs elite athletes" "His winning percentage is amazing" etc etc etc. Thing is, Bama owns LSU then, now and forever. Way it is.

LSU has so much fricking money that Reek spends his week researching LSU’s financials

Definitely “doesn’t care about LSU” though.

Bama only cares about LSU when it is your turn to lose to us yet again, and then have your season unravel afterwards as usual.

Except he isn't even pulling the correct information and clearly doesn't know what he's looking at.

For reference, Reek, here you go: LINK

LSU says they have on occasion in the past. Are you saying the LSU financials are fraudulent? That would be very Louisiana of them.

LSU is a very poor school. LSU athletics is funded by rich alumni

LSU cannot even crack the top 200 schools out there. It is a TERRIBLE school except in a few disciplines. It also has been in some form of bankruptcy numerous times

But, Chambliss said coach Golding is more of a team guy than Lane. Sounds like Golding is the 2nd coming of Saban.

Verge Ausberry announces LSU athletics are a charity.

LSU is Reshaping It’s Athletic Department

Nothing says “I’m Rich!!!” like beating the streets begging for donations.

quote:

Ausberry will oversee the whole department, but he revealed that he’s tabbed a handful of administrators to lead the charge with raising money for certain programs.

“This is a new day and age,” Ausberry said. “Not the same days of the old athletic director sitting in the offices and just dictating what you’re doing. Now we’ve got to be out there, concentrating and focusing on how we generate revenue.”

“We’re going to be out there beating the streets,” Ausberry said. “LSU is a charity. Like (Skip Bertman) used to say, LSU as an athletic department is a charity. So that’s the way we’re looking at this.”
