Yes. Things like that are part of what makes LSU AD facility projects "fun." You really don't know what you'll get until it's done.

What do the plans show?

The plans show a lighter finish on the exterior. But a few things have changed since those renderings, so the honest answer is we don't really know.

Exactly. For instance, NO ONE knows how much this thing is going to seat. We've seen everything from 99,500 - 103,500. I don't even think TAF really knows yet

If I was forced to guess I would guess yes that's the last layer. Just on the arches. The buildings on top are definitely still a work in progress.

We also don't know how much it's actually going to cost. Originally it was $67 million, but the most recent figure I've seen was $87 million. I've also seen $105 million.

Any idea if those added ribbon boards are going to come to fruition? (again, this could fall under the category of "no one knows")

And DWS looks far, far better. Huge improvement with this expansion

It really does. Every opposing fan that walks in our stadium now will be pleasantly surprised.

Yes, a lot of teams actually have away seating that doesn't involve taking an elevator to get to them

The SEC mandates that home teams reserve a small section of seating behind the visiting team's bench. After that, the home stadium can divide up visiting fans will-nilly.

If you've been a visitor to Bryant-Denny, you know the majority of visiting fans are scattered throughout the nosebleed seats. Most visitor seating in SEC stadiums, other than the small amount the SEC mandates in the lower bowl, is in the nosebleed seats.

LSU at least has the majority of visitors sitting together, and just steps from restrooms and concessions.

I maintain that this will be the best visiting section in any SEC stadium. The only visiting seats closer to the field, outside of the lower bowl section, in other stadiums are those in smaller stadiums.

And those won't have the convenient access to restroom and concessions Tiger Stadium's visiting seats have.

Period, end of discussion.

A&M used to have the worst visitor seats in the lower bowl. You faced the side of temp bleachers in the south endzone. You had to crank you kneck to the left. Seriously the seats were about 20 yards past the goaline.

Look at the orange (Sam Houston?) in the pic. Sorry guys. I promise Kyle will be better. It will be in the shitty nosebleeds, but at least you'll be able to watch the game.

Just found this and thought it was cool how it'll look finished. Students have some of the best seats in the whole stadium
