Get working on a cost analysis! I've thought the same thing, btw.

but I was REALLY thinking about is the -next- expansion. The one not everyone is sure will/should happen

I just don't want them messing with the north endzone exterior. It's perfect as is and looks incredible compared to just a few years ago.

Nice. Are there any renderings of how they'll look?

Loge lounge

Seated view

I just got myself confused on where our "Loge lounge" will actually be placed. If you notice, there's a very big difference between the "view" in the lounge pic and what the other renderings show...

You're not alone there. BTW saw this on the USCe fan board a couple of years ago and kept it...

...and I'd want a possible NEZ expansion to be as open and see-through as possible. For example, the outside could be balconies...the better to watch The March Down Victory Hill...

Tickin' in a lot of places, too.

Construction on the south end zone upper deck addition to LSU's Tiger Stadium has gotten ahead of the weather. Soon, said an LSU official, it will be out of the equation.

Work continues on a round-the-clock pace with as many as four shifts of laborers on the $75 million project that will likely push the stadium's capacity beyond 100,000. With precast seating topping off the site from the east side to the west, more and more work is being done in an enclosed environment, LSU senior associate athletic director Eddie Nunez said Thursday. That should make the addition ready for LSU's home opener against Sam Houston State on Sept. 6.

"Everything is on schedule, things are moving as expected," Nunez said. "We've been able to make up time over the last several months.

I think most of us not totally familiar with the project will be amazed how fast the end-zone will go up, once they get to that point.

Looking forward to seeing the endzone expansion at VHS. Can't imagine you guys will let MSU have the largest stadium in the state for too long.
