So your saying that the recruits came to Arkansas regardless of Petrino?

No...I'm saying read the articles written by Rivals/Scouts analyst...Many time you see..."I don't know a lot about Arkansas...I know they have a good program"....

Or...

"I know Arkansas(or team of your choice) has had great RB's..."

No...I'm saying that when you start throwing out offers nationally instead of regionally you get recruits that don't typically see the recruiting school on a consistent basis...Thus knowing certain things about the program, but probably not as much as the more regional university

Based on quotes from recruits themselves, the majority know the PROGRAM and not the coach.

So what your saying is that the program that Hootie built is what got recruits interested in Arkansas?

Nope...they were interested in a current offer from Arkansas with Bobby Petrino as the coach...

as compared to whom? If you're talking those who had NFL success,Hogs are near the bottom of SEC.The same can be said for college careers too.
