Our FG Kicker is 17-17 this year or some shite... you should call our special teams coach - he is beast mode.

I wish him the best of luck to wherever he goes.

Kansas could be an open slot if Gill is fired after this season.

Same here. He's a good guy(STFU Arky fans, no one cares what you think) and I hope for the best for him.

I do too. I wish Nutt well. I just liked the "Diana" quote.

Has anyone mentioned that this is the second time that Nutt took the AD out with him?

The demise of the Rebel Football program under Nutt was a predictable as Saban fielding another great defense this year. Nutt’s biggest problem at Ole Miss was that he didn’t have the built in advantage of being able to get in-state players, like he did at Arkansas, with minimal effort.

Remember when Nutt first got to Ole Miss he was popping off about how much easier it was going to be to recruit at Ole Miss than it was at Arkansas? Hog Fans knew that was a bunch of crap and he was only taking shots at Arkansas but you Rebels eat it up by the shovel load. In fact, I remember several poster making comments like, and I paraphrase; if Nutt took Arkansas to the SEC Championship Game twice just imagine how well he will do at Ole Miss. Well, how well did that worked out? The bottom line is that Ole Miss is not even close to Arkansas in potential as a program and Nutt’s performance, or lack thereof, has proven it beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Gloating about how things have transpired at Ole Miss under Nutt would be the equivalent of me gloating about predicting that the sun was going to rise tomorrow. No, I won’t gloat about it but it’s been fun watching the inevitable train wreck and the Rebel Fans’ reactions.

If I were a 18-22 year old QB or a 60+ year old AD, I'd be nervous if Nutt was becoming the head coach at my school...

I was surprised Mullen had a class act comment about the firing. Did anybody see it?

"It's not something we take very lightly, so any time you see a coach lose a job, it's a sad day."

He should have added a TSUN reference in there, cause it just didn't seem right.

I'd say the bigger factor is that the SECW is much better now than it was when Nuttster was going to ATL at Arky. The price of poker went way up and Nutt went all in with David F'n Lee. Predictably, he busted out big time.

I will agree with you that Arky has more potential than OM on the surface being the only school in an isolated state - it makes things much, much easier even if the state is historically meh regarding HS football talent.

Mullen is a good guy, that shouldn't be surprising. I hope Nutt ends up at Tulane. My friend went to a few of the OM camps and loved him.
