How has SC being in SEC been a recruiting advantage for them?
Yes it has. High school athletes know the SEC sends more players to the nfl than any other conference, and they know if they choose a SEC school, they can showcase their talents against more future nflers. I don't have the stats but I am willing to bet that SCar has sent more players to the pros, and I bet they have had higher recruiting classes overall than Clemson since joining the SEC in 1992.

Also, why do you think Clemson can't get another good coach? What is it about Clemson that you think it can't do well under other coaches?
Sure they can but one as good as Dabo is unlikely, and Bama may never have as good of a coach as Saban in my lifetime. Both Bama and Clemson will take a step back under a coaching change. I think this is self evident.

I think Clemson could be even better if it got a coach like the one at TCU and Washington.
Sure they could, but I doubt it.

seems delusional to believe Alabama is somehow a better place to be than Clemson.

It sounds like you are speculating.
You haven't given any reason why Clemson can't be good with other coaches.
I don't think it close to accurate that SC has had higher recruiting classes or sent more players to the pros. You are a SEC fanboy.
If you look at SC's record since they join the SEC, there is nothing there that indicates being in the SEC has been an advantage in recruiting. Their recruiting did improve under Spurrier but I think that had to do with Spurrier plus more talented in state players during those years.

Sure I am. I don't know the future.

I never said Clemson wouldn't be good with other coaches, just said it is unlikely they hire another good one right away.

Haven't researched it and don't care enough to. Playing in the SEC has been a big recruiting advantage for other teams. I bet it is the same in your state.

if it is a recruiting advantage, why doesn't SC beat Clemson more often?
SC hasn't even won a SEC title yet.
you haven't explain why you think Clemson can't hire another good coach right away.
Clemson pays well, it has good facilities, it is nice area, it is in a good recruiting area, nice weather, etc.

You have a better coach right now. I think we should just enjoy our elite coaching while we have them, and worry about the next one when it comes up.

i'm not worried about the next coach....lol that was my point.
i don't see any reason to believe right now the next coach will fail at Clemson.

When I was a kid, we had Bear Bryant. Then almost a decade later we had Gene Stallings, who was a good coach. Then about about a decade later we had Saban. In between were some rough years, mixed with a decent one here and there. Good coaches are hard to replace after they leave.
