A good HC knows when to correct mistakes.

if ya'll don't have 45 missed tackles, you probably would have won the game.

My post is directed at our defense and coaches. I am really sick and tired of hearing the "go back and watch the film, see what we did wrong and correct it." They haven't corrected jack shite. Either they don't know how, or we don't have the talent to do so. Either way, it will not get corrected. The staff has had, not 3 games, but years to correct this and get us back to our traditional defense. They have not done so.

Get Roof's arse out and let Chizik take over. Then let him hire someone knew at the end if the year.

Also, stop taking up for Chizik when talking about our Defense. There is a lot of blame to go around.

I think the loss of Rocker is playing into this too. Our D line is the worst I have ever seen it. Screw the "they're just sophomores" argument. These guys are underperforming.

And no, we AU fans are not bandwagoners jumping ship. We all have been disgruntled about our defense for a long time.

Gus has an impact on the Auburn defense in respect to him wanting to run his speed offense. If he doesn't realize at some point, in many of these upcoming games, that he needs to slow things down to rest his defense, then he is going to be part of the problem. We'll see what he does, but from what he's said so far, it's not in his lexicon.

I'm not saying huddle up, if they want to continue to adjust at the line, but definitely wait it out before the snaps against the majority of the SEC teams they are about to face. It is important in coaching to be able to change when necessary, moreover, to go with the hand you've been dealt in regards to what is going on talent-wise, on both sides of the ball. Everyone is saying Gus is the shite, well, we'll see about that in the upcoming games.

I'm not saying he needs to go, or that he is a bad coach, but he could become part of the problem if he doesn't adjust when needed as far as time management on offense when the defense is getting raped by SEC opponents.

None or our "stars" that we have recruited on defense have actually turned out to be stars. There is an abundance of talent on D, save Bates and Thorpe... We just need to hire a legitimate guy that knows what the frick he's doing. Hire someone that coached under Dungy with the Tampa 2.
