If the SEC HQ weren't in Gumpville, the tournament wouldn't be in Hoover. Once again, they don't represent the 14 universities or 11 states equally.

Personally, I don't see the "dump" description even relevant to Hoover. I would bet 75% of the people calling it a dump on here haven't been or at least haven't been recently. These young kids on here need to be entertained with glitz and shite. I go to enjoy baseball.

If you take the HQ out of Gumpville, you lose the officiating, scheduling, compliance, and sanctions assistance you receive which would place your football at the same level as your basketball & baseball. You know...the bottom.
