I do think Indiana wins, but this is the worst possible draw for the Hoosiers in the NC game.

Isn’t the nc supposed to be the two best teams in the sport? That being said, Indiana will soundly beat Miami.

And Cignetti is the best coach on the planet....lmao. What the frick are people worried about Miami for? They barely escaped with their lives against Ole Miss....OLE frickING MISS!!!!! While Indiana is making short work of teams like Alabama and Oregon....give me a fricking break. Indiana only loses if they get to cocky and think all they have to do is show up to win....thats it.
Buddy youre assuming those teams are good purely off the logo.

Bama and Oregon suck, Bama is a middling ACC team equivalent who got thrashed by FSU.

Its scary we played our worst game against Ole miss in the playoffs and still could've easily walked out with a 1-2 td win.

Its about matchups not transitive property.

I agree. I’ll go further and say SMU and Louisville were better teams than Bama.

and a top 5 coach in the nil era

Cignetti greater than Cristobal by a lot to me.

But we've seen coaches like Cristobal go on a one year run and then not be able to repeat it again.

I think Cignetti will always have IU in very good shape in terms of being a winner, but i also wouldn't be shocked if this is his only real shot at winning it all.

If I were betting, I'd bet neither of these guys win a title after this game.

Not saying it's pure luck, but portal evals are not a 100% lock no matter how good you are at it. I'd say he probably has had a better run at it than he will in the future.

Can he elevate IU's high school recruiting to top ten? If he can do that, I'd change my mind. Think he'd have a good chance to win multiple if he were at a top ten high school recruiting school.

Cignetti has won everywhere he's been, but he's never won a championship and coached in Div. II and FCS for over a decade.

Mendoza went to high school 20 miles away from Hard Rock Stadium.

Miami beat OSU, who very clearly had a bad offensive line and a QB that is as mobile as a boat anchor. Indiana has a great offensive line and a QB who is skilled at picking up yards on the ground. And three very good receivers. Indiana wins by 7

Why is Everybody pretending like Indiana didnt just play Ohio State and scrape by 13-10?

Indiana has had 3 - 1 Score games against Iowa, PSU, and OSU. Probably the only decent LOS teams they played all season even including Bama and Oregon.

That Side of the bracket was trash....Miami, OSU, Ole Miss, Georgia and TAMU are all Indiana level teams.

These Indiana fans are ridiculous, just so cocky. My prediction is a one score game either way...not sure how much our trenches will impact the game but there's a scenario where Indiana is overwhelmed at the LOS in my head and can't do much but that's probably not the most likely scenario.

I think it’ll be a close game. But as far as the cocky fans, as a Miami fan you should know better

I absolutely could see that happening… If Miami shows up ready to play though it's gonna be a game.

The Bama win was a dominant win against a team that was dominated by another team just weeks before. Bama was nothing special this year and they ended up really living off of the Georgia win in Athens when it was all said and done.

The Oregon game was a negative turnover game like I said and any good team should win that game going away with a turnover ratio like that.

Yards per play, total yardage, etc., it wasn't overwhelming.

Miami is gonna be a much tougher test than a lot of you think.

You played two teams with a real pulse in the regular season and those games went down to the wire and needed some luck to win them. If there's one thing I know about this sport is people go completely crazy with recency bias.
