Alabama has the edge at every position group excepte P/K, and the idea that Georgia’s RB group or OL are better is retarded.

That being said, the gap at many of these groups isn’t huge. UGA absolutely has the players where you could see how they could win h2h with a few breaks in a game and/or injuries before the game. If Tua wasn’t available the line would be less then a FG on this game right now

RBs even
O-line - Bama
Punter - GA

Otherwise, I agree.

Our OL is better. See our run totals vs LSU

You actually attempted to run. We abandoned the run. I would not for one second trade offensive lines with Bama.

We don't have the defense to beat Bama this year. We're too young and they'll score plenty, unless we can continue to improve until the SEC championship game. Even then, it still won't be enough.

We also don't have the QB to beat Bama, and we've wasted the entire year by not developing Fields, who will likely transfer, sadly.

It will be close for a half, and then Bama runs away with it.

Bama's O-line is in penetrable. UGA line with the injuries and loss of the 1st Rd tackle is not as good as last year.

If UGA's OL is healthy, I'd call it close enough to a push... but that's a HUGE if...

At the end of the day, it really doesn't actually matter. The matchups we should be looking at are:

UGA OL v UA DL - edge UA
UGA DL v UA OL - strong edge UA

Both lines of scrimmage... not a good matchup for us.

UGA QB/WR v UA DBs - consistency tells me UA slight edge here... If UGA at their peak, probably a push or slight edge UGA, but likelihood low

UGA DBs v UA QB/WR - strong edge UA - D. Baker can shut down ONE receiver, but that will mean frick all in the grand scheme of things.

UGA RB v UA run D (call this LB play for symmetry) - probably a push? I don't believe that our run game alone will be sufficient to keep us in it

UGA run D v UA RBs - STRONG edge Alabama. We looked a lot more composed against UK here, so maybe that's a sign of things to come, but missed tackles, MLB play, etc... it's been a hodge podge mix of arse most of the year.

This is a pretty bad matchup for UGA objectively based on what we've seen thus far. If UGA doesn't take some pretty big steps in the next few weeks, we'll be lucky to keep it within 17 barring some pretty crazy turnover luck or explosive plays.

Yeah, UGA's OL has been exceptional, especially given the injury circumstances. Would not trade, if only to avoid the unknown.
