I'll accept an NIT bid this year. We lost too many players, and had too many young players left. Next year will be better.

sounds about right. After a little flurry in the early to mid90's they've become a program where just having a winning season is a big deal.

Honestly though, does football just pay the bills so much that Bama doesn't care to compete in any other sports? Yes you are a football school and you win at that well, but you are a terrible all around program. I think you rank in the bottom 3rd of the SEC in actual titles. I guess if football was year around I wouldn't care but it must suck to be this awful at everything but 1 sport. How about you get on Arkansas and LSU's level there Bama.

But you don't honestly. You are okay at times but medocre at best. Football yes you are the kings but all around you fall way behind Arkansas, LSU, and Florida in the big 3. But to win big at one has to somehow negate sucking at the other 2. I prefer my team to be competitive in all 3 though.

you're average in 2 sports for a large part. At least in my definition of 'good.'

You will never come close to us in baseball or basketball. Other than a couple seasons here and there, you will always behind Arkansas in both. And to say your basketball program is bette would be like me saying our football program is better if we ever get a win inthe near future.

Never come close to you in basketball? We just swept you this season, including beating you last night at your place without our best player. Our basketball program is better than yours in present day, period. Never come close, lol
