Hog fans...the spring game

is going to be hand picked teams against one another. not 1v2's and so on. It is actually going to be played as a game between competitors. Trey Biddy is going over the teams now on the radio

I would've never figured that Petrino would go for this. Spring game ought to be worth watching for something other than seeing Mallett punt.

He wouldnt in the past because we had such shitty depth due to you know who's recruiting. The team is actually able to field two teams with quality depth now so they have split the teams evenly. Mallet will not be playing so I dont know what the Mallet punting comment means.

Just thinking back to last year when he had to do some punting in practice and the spring game because we only had one other punter on campus. One of the papers had that listed under "things to watch for" because there's just not all that much to get excited over when it's 1s vs. 2s.

ah gotcha...hell I bet he would be a better punter than what we have now...Im not looking forward to our special teams play in terms of kicking in any form. the fresh phenoms we have coming in cannot get here soon enough

I think it's local and on espn3... Do the spring games get uploaded to the SECsports.com site?

Unfortunately no. I was hoping Alabama's would be on the SEC Digital Network to re-watch. You can miss several things seeing it live. I was disappointed it wasn't.

yep Brandon is back, they said he was rusty the first day but got his timing back today and will be running with Tyler Wilson on the Red Team. They are doing the QBS screwy to me...Tyler and Brandon vs Nick Petrino and Jacoby Walker but Nick and Jacoby have both lit it up as well this spring so we ll see.

Yeah, I expected Brandon and Tyler to be on opposite teams myself.
