For tax purposes, I assume he has to report it as income. Arky passes him that money, its income. He then passes it onto Wisconsin.

Wonder how they came up with Franklin's salary at Vandy. Since they are a private school, they don't reveal salaries or contract clauses.

That's his original salary when hired. Word is that Franklin makes around the $3 million mark now. That, of course, is not fact as they haven't made public his extensions/restructuring.
