how bout your head to head with "elite" lsu the past 8 years. When you were 5-3. Or how about your stellar winning record in Baton Rouge 10-2 all time. Remember when Alabama, and Florida fans though their coaches "owned" Les and LSU? Now were 2-2 against both.

This is where the problem lies at for Arky....this is what you hang your hat on...and until you get past that mentality, your team will never be elite.....LSU is 6-2 against bama over the same period....but as an lsu fan, I know each year is different, and we look at the overall picture...not just if we can beat bama. If we beat bama and lose another game....then it means nothing to us. But again, that is the difference between a team that is elite, and one that has not come close to taking that step yet. IF you ever get there, you will understand what I mean.

actually les was 3-3 against urban, and is 2-2 against miles. LSU under miles is 4-3 against florida, and 4-2 against bama.

no, I'm actually hanging my hat on the fact that LSU blowhards like you call your program elite and talk down to Arkansas like we're second rate when in reality we own you guys lately. General rule of thumb in sports: if you are going to talk shite about a team make sure you take care of business on the field.
Bama does, that's why they are an elite program and I will acknowledge that. Must be noted they don't really talk shite about us, they let their play do the talking, something LSU can't seem to do against the Hogs lately.

We want to beat every team we play to maintain our number 1 ranking, and win a 3rd crystal ball. You guys need to learn from us about setting your aspirations higher, or you'll be stuck in mid tier SEC status forever.

LSU is one of two teams to win 2 BCS championships. Arky can't even win a BCS game or finish in the top 10, let alone can't win a single division title.
LSU has finished 6 times in the top 10 in the last 10 years, winning 4 bcs games, 2 national titles, 3 conference titles, and 4 division titles.
Over the last 10 years, bama has won 1 SEC Title, 1 BCS game, 1 BCS Title, and finished in the top 10 twice. That is not a flame at bama, they have a great team, but it points out your ignorance of saying they are elite but lsu is not. I'm sorry you can't compete with alabama, maybe one day IF you get better, you can. LSU has certainly had no problem beating them, having won 6 of last 8, and 5 of last 6 in alabama.

as a program, they are below mid tier.
They are certainly behind bama, lsu and florida, that is a no brainer.

Tenn has won multiple sec championships, and a national title in the SEC .....no contest they have a better program.
Georgia has won multiple SEC championships and bcs games....again...they are ahead of arky as an sec program.
That leaves arky and south carolina battling for the # 7 spot in terms of program success of sec football programs.

LSU has a solid program, no doubt the benefactor of being the only major program in a state rich with talent. In fact, for the built-in advantages you have it could be argued you should have more NC's than you do, you're kind of like Texas in that regard. One of the most underachieving programs in history.
Again, try beating Arkansas consistently before bragging to me about how great you are.

hmmmm...i wonder why the pollsters didnt agree with you at the end of the year last year. There were 3 SEC teams ranked significantly ahead of you.......you trying to claim 2nd or 3rd best team in the SEC without ever winning a conference title or bcs game or even top 10 finish....wow.

I know you hate to give Arkansas any credit but our program is on the uptick, and the present is way more relevant than the 1950s.

I consider a team that measures their success by comparing their head to head record against one team, over 4 years, instead of championships, as mid tier. Sorry.
