Wasn’t called for late hit. Called for taking a player off his feet when the player is not part of the play (no chance to make a tackle on the ball carrier).

It was a very unecessary hit

I agree completely, the refs absolutely forgot what constitutes holding, which occurred on both long TD runs. Additionally, the Perkins fumble recovery should have been a TD, but the refs blew the play dead.

We could play that game as well. your LT held all game. The officials simply did not call holding. So if we are negating our Touchdown runs, we are negating your drive before halftime, because holding happened a few times.

Nuss’s first “pick six” was negated by a horse collar that cause the errant throw. The second was a legit bad throw, but South Carolina is undisciplined and hit the QB, that is always a penalty.

Aaron Murray would love a word with you about how that is "always a penalty"

quote:

the only questionable call was the PI against South Carolina. The refs were bad both ways, but it can be easily argued that it hurt LSU more.

The other questionable call was the false start that SC got after the INT. The one where 3 LSU linemen shifted and they called SC for a false start....Not a single SC player moved. It shouldnt have been a call at all (I am fine with Dlinemen shifting, yes even the penalty yall received for it earlier in the game)

Questionable non calls

Sellers getting hit in the face on the INT. video pretty much shows he was hit high in the head.

Sanders getting hit out of bounds the play after the bad OPI...that would have given SC the first down anyways.

On the OPI play, DPI should have been called as well. The DB was making contact before the ball got there and never turned around to find it.

So I get it, I have zero doubts we got away with a few things, but the quantity of big calls that SC shouldnt/should have gotten is why SC fans...and the rant in general (on saturday...they don't care now) feels like SC got screwed.

Thats not a late hit. This is a hold tho.

66 yards from one hold.

He would have caught him too
