There are backwoods areas in every state. I guarantee you that the Lexington/Louisville/Newport triangle of Kentucky is better than anything that the state of Mississippi has to offer.

Obviously, Mississippi's history with the Klan speaks for itself. Aren't most movies that deal with racism set in your state (Mississippi Burning, Ghosts of Mississippi, etc.)?

He got in trouble a few times at LSU. Two times for illegal contact with a recruit and we also had the grade scandal. LSU had to pay off two teachers to shut them up about it. The staff knew this was going on well before the shite hit the fan.
I would not call him a "rogue" but his record is not squeaky clean like your post would indicate. Michigan State also made the cut for Albert Means services. This was before he left for LSU.
Correct me if I'm wrong Bama fans but he has also been cited for illegal contact with a recruit while at Bama.
