I don't know if these kids nowadays could handle Eddie in his prime, along with Redd Foxx, Richard Pryor, Arsenio Hall, and Della Reese.

Harlem nights get a bad rap as being a terrible movie. Well, I guess it is,.......but I loved it. I've probably watched it 100 times.

I've heard that. It amazes me, but probably because there aren't a lot of black movie reviewers. It would be like going to a historically black college like FAMU and asking them to review the Blue Collar Comedy Tour.
The shite is just FUNNY. The pinky toes scene is just incomparable, but my favorite is when Vera is telling Mr. Calhoun where to find Ray and Quick - "I'm just an honest ho, Mr Calhoun, and all my hoes is honest, and we don't want none of this fightin and shootin and shite no mo."
