Ill start with 1998 to give Tenner some love.
Out of 23 years, the SEC has claimed 13 of the titles. Over half.
7 out if the last 10. The remaining three being Clemson, Florida State, and Ohio State. None of which have won consecutive titles in that span because the SEC continues to dominate.
The big 12 is a non factor. The Big 10 and ACC are one horse conferences and have an easy path.
People like to say Alabama is ruining CFB. However, from where im sitting it looks like its actually the SEC.
Since the beginning of decent polling to decide winners, it hasnt been close. Also noting that now Clemson and Ohio State seem to be beginning a descent. The SEC has kicked both out decisively the past two years.
And to add to that, A&M most certainly would have throttled notre dame this year, and likely gave Clemson a game albeit they probably lose due to QB play.
The SEC is simply better top to bottom than any other conference. But we all knew this.
The west likely runs through the Bama LSU game, and Georgia will almost certainly take the East this upcoming season. On paper.
Both Clemson and Ohio State will be breaking in new starters at qb as well. The dominance isnt over.

I would like to know how you note that; they both made the playoffs, have a ton of starters coming back, and have top 5 recruiting classes next year. Ohio State looks especially poised to keep their run going.
SEC has won 6 0f 10, by the way, with Bama winning 5 of the 6.

I was with you until right here. A&M struggled with UNC. The CFP committee got it right by leaving them out.

UNC was one of the top offenses in the country.
Both A&M and Notre Dame beat them by 14.

You post a lot of stupid shite.

Hanging on to the SEC is hanging on to the wealth Bama has brought to the conference.

UNC was without their two 1000 yard rushers and an offensive lineman when they played A&M.
