Why Miami fans think they win big!

quote:

1. Our running game and speed (dee jay and cam) come on mane

2. Uf's offense is terrible

3. Um's 3 linebackers that played for four years together

4. Amari Carter/ Blades/Ivey

5. Diaz vs Mullen... smh

6. Two 5 star te's that can ball

7. Muddy badger, the Michael Jordan on defense, but i like carter

Um-38 Uf -13

Excellent insight, Canes. Any score predictions?

quote:

i think Deejay and Cam run wild while allowing Jarren to get settled into the role.

Canes 24 Gayturds 10

Dallas 2 TDs
Mallory 1 TD
Jarren 13/21 215 1 TD 1 INT
Franks 1 rushing TD 3 INT

WOW! Really a crushing blow. Never heard the term gayturds before.

quote:

The gaytors are us last year.

Yikes.

I mingled with them on that boar last year. LSU brought them down to earth a LOT .

Beat them by 20 please

It is nearly impossible to have any kind of decent discussion with them, and they have zero sense of humor, other than dees nutz, got heem!

The few Miami alums are alright.

Their sidewalk fans are scum of the earth.

You speak the truth. LSU fans heard nothing but wild blowout predictions all offseason.

As a Dawg fan I got super excited, thinking it was the 80's again!

I've gone from pulling for UF to pulling for Miami, now I'm just pulling for a meteorite

Miami fans are easily one of the weirdest fan bases around.

They don't know anything about football but they can't stop talking about it.

Their receivers are woefully undersized (our DBs are actually taller and heavier), their QB has been splitting reps all off-season and was just named the starter last week, their starting receiver is a transfer from Buffalo, their freshman QB has one completion his entire collegiate career and this will be the first game he starts, they're still learning and adapting to a new offensive scheme, their offensive line has four underclassmen including two freshmen at tackle and they are playing an almost entirely upperclass defense and offense in Florida.

18 of our 22 starters are upperclassmen, there isn't a single player on the field who didn't play last year and our entire staff was carried over from last year minus our DL and CB coaches.

Veteran team and coaching staff vs. rookie team and coaching staff in a season opener? I can't see any reason why they think they should win this game, let alone win it comfortably.

I'm putting all of my ill will towards the Gators out to pasture this weekend. There is no way these guys should be allowed to have bragging rights over any SEC team.

They will be lucky to keep it at 33 because Mullen fully intends to run the score up on this one.

The Messiah will be speaking to the team right before the game.

This game is for control of the state and I really think Mullen is going to throw everything we have at Miami.

Yeah sorry I was referring to their message board folks. Being from South Florida, I know plenty of nice Miami fans as well.

Good point, of course Miami views it the same way I suppose.

UF is fortunate that their rebuild is timed with a very bad FSU and Miami.

I hope we have time to throw everything we have at them with the new OL.

The OL has:

1 RS SR
3 RS JRs
1 RS FR

It's not like it's this young, green line that hasn't been on campus on average for four years.

Those guys have been in the system and understand it. They'll be fine.

People do not listen to us when we say they are easily the worst fan base in CFB. There isn't a lot of them...but they are bat shite crazy the few that remain.

Offense improved later in the year when Mullen started running Franks more.

Our WR core is as good as anyone in the nation besides Bama. RB core is very, very solid. Let's not forget Toney was second in the nation in YPC(with more than 20 carries) last year. Plenty of weapons.

Our head coach is one of the better offensive strategist in the game.

I think the offense will be fine. More like 2006 style where it does enough to win the games. Franks will likely never be a high percentage QB. Just needs to hit a few big plays a game, make the right reads, and limit mistakes. He has a lot of weapons to make easy throws like slants and screens that can gain a lot of yards with minimum effort from him.
