No pick is ever a lock imo. But GT over LSU is not a bad pick at all.

I don't mind Herby pickin LSU to lose. Hell, it happens almost every week, even when LSU is good.
LSU is CAPABLE of beating ANY team they play. I got all the respect for GT, and think it is going to be a good game, but they are no unstoppable powerhouse. I would be a helluva lot more worried if we were playing USC or Texas TECH. So anyone calling it a LOCK out of all the bowl games is just bein a damn fool.

Herbie is taking the easy way out. He's going off what both teams have done at the end of the season. But Miles does do a great job in getting his teams ready for bowl games. Plus the seniors on the defensive side of the ball will be ready to go out winners!

The problem [for LSU] with the GT pick is the disrespect - contempt for the National Champs a year removed. Is that a jab at LSU or a jab at Les Miles? I think LSU is better than 7 & 5 but Miles can't do any better. Bad news for LSU for now. The gamblers like GT by 3.5 to 4 - you can't hide from that perception of weakness. LSU is bigger, faster, and stronger - but the majority of the money says Miles is coaching an inferior team. I say Miles is an inferior coach.

GT over LSU is my 34 point confidence pick in ESPN Bowl Pick 'Em, so Herbie is on to something, IMO.
LSU matches up well against GT physically, but that defense lacks the discipline to stop them, especially with the two retards at DC. I don't expect LSU to be able to do much on offense, either. All things considered, GT's a lock.

kirk fricked over LSU and meeechigan. stupid bitch needs to learn to keep his mouth shut. he also picked uga over us in 03 at tiger stadium. I only remember it bc after the game we got corsos autograph and when kirk game off the bus we started cussin him out
