People forget too that in 1988 he was the Ohio player of the year and was recruited by pretty much every major college in America. He was Ohio St from the start and was John Coopers first signee when he took the OSU job.

Nobody scoffs at Herbstreit for being Christian, they scoff at him for crying like a bitch when that POS got killed in Minnesota.
