Henry will become an incredible NFL back because of one thing: He is never satisfied. As much as any player that I have seen, Derrick Henry plays with a huge chip on his shoulder and just seems to run angry.

He is physically gifted but his real talent is his attitude. I would bet large sums of money that barring injury, he will have the most storied career of any SEC back since Bo.

His measurement are exactly the same as Eric Dickerson but with 20 additional lbs of muscle and Henry has better vision. And we all know how that worked out...

Most team's run defenses wear down in the second half.

Good point that despite being pulled when the defense is worn down that he accomplished what he did.

Henry's yards counted more. They came against power 5 opponents. He did not pad his stats. ULM, Charleston, and MTSU were the Bama cup cakes and Henry had less than 100 yards in all 3 of those games. While fournette racked up 233 against Eastern Michigan, the worst team in FBS against the run.

Henry's yards had much more impact. Fournette racked more yards against LSU's 2 non power 5 opponents than Henry did against Alabam's 3. He also had more carries against 2 cupcakes than Henry had against 3.

That's a lot of football being taken out right there. That's like saying a WR wouldn't have that many yards without the long 50 catch.

The point is he didn't play in the second half of those games. Or not much if he did at all. MTSU, ULM and CS were the cupcakes and Saban would have played backups in the 2nd half thereby skewing the numbers. I would also run the 4th qtr compared to the rest with the remaining schedule. That should tell a story.

The Sooner LB was right..he ugly

He's female version of a butter face. He still makes plenty of panties wet, even if he looks like the a Predator with a receding hair line.

Not only the greatest season for a running back in the SEC, but the greatest season ever for an ugly RB, in any level of football.

I was wondering if you were going to address the nonsense you typed about people saying Henry gets pulled early in games when, to the contrary, people have been saying one of his greatest attributes is getting stronger throughout the course of the game as the defense gets more and more tired. He has run less in the blowout games, but he has absolutely been leaned on in the big games, particularly in the second half. Who has denied that?

He was pulled early in the games that were in hand.

As was Fournette or any other great back in blowout games if the coaches care about their players health. Henry did carry the ball 90 times the past two weeks but has a nice long interval to let his body recuperate. Florida actually has the second best defense in the SEC(Talking personnel more than stats) and Henry worked hard for his 189 on 44 carries. Fournette managed 180 on 31 carries against the Gators. I'd be happy with either of them on my team.

How insecure they are, and how meaningless of a life they've led?

I like joking around and some friendly smack talk. But if I ever spent that much time upset about how a player on an opposing is doing, I'd jump off the Huey P in Jefferson.

This is true. Hard work determines future success. Based on what has been said about Henry, he seems to have that hard work part down. So, he should do well at the next level.

I doubt neither will be a star at the next level. Henry doesn't have the lateral quickness or acceleration. Fournette doesn't have the vision and is used to running behind a FB or lead blocker. Most NFL teams don't utilize the FB the way LSU does. Fournette looked pretty average after LSU FB was injured.

Fournette will be drafted higher and expectations will be higher causing him to be a bigger bust than Henry.

Basically every good RB. That's what should happen.

This is a weird thread for you. You started off with some straw man argument that Bama fans were claiming Henry got pulled early in most games, which isn't true (to the contrary Bama fans have been talking about his second half dominance in big games). Then you've been all over the place after that. What is your point exactly?
