We are considering going to the Bama vs LSU game this year. However we don't want to pay over $300 bucks for a ticket, college budget. Should I get a ticket in the U2 section, is the view any good? Or should we just stay home and catch the game on tv w/ some friends.

The view is one of the best in the stadium. It's under the overhang, but there are only like 15 rows in each section, so it's sort of like a skybox view

It will be an expensive weekend either way. That section is not bad depending on what you are gonna pay. It should be near press box.

U2 section are generally good seats. Used to have season tickets there. It's the same level as the Press Box, and are covered, and chair back seats. If you're paying less than $300, that's a steal.

I love the upper decks at BDS. Great view, even the end zone seating. Of course, I prefer the higher view.

I do as well. The upper end zones are the nicest sections (in terms of amenities) in the SEC. The seats aren't terrible, but the concourses are NFL-like

I hate it, except for the U1 or U2 sections. I can tolerate the U3 if it's the first few rows. Never sat in the end zone uppers though, but it looks like I'd hate them as well.

U1 are my favorite seats, but they are always next to impossible to find.

First row of SS-2 (well, at least the first row I'm able to sit in; the first two rows are handicapped) That's where I always sit
