pssshhh TuscaLOSER isnt exactly a cultural hotspot either

Still, it's 50 times greater than Auburn and most of the towns in this uncivilized state.

Mobile/Gulf Shores, T-Town, and Huntsville = awesome. Everything else = gay.

If it wasn't for Columbus, GA, I'd probably die of boredom around these parts...

Gulf Shore, Orange Beach, and Mobile are pretty cool. Never been to Huntsville so I can't say. Nothing to do in Tuscaloosa but go drinking and go to that mall.

You're gay for not including Birmingham.

I maintain that anything not in the Greater Birmingham Area, Huntsville, Mobile/Gulf Shores, Muscle Shoals(history), Montgomery, Auburn, or Tuscaloosa isnt really Alabama.

Same thing as Mobile and Huntsville. Only difference is (besides the fact that Mobile and Huntsville are obviously better) you've plenty of peeps willing to party too.

Me being a high school student and applying for both(just to do it, im going to the army).
I got accepted to bama and not au. all of my friends that applied for bama got in and maybe 5 or 6 out of a lot got into auburn.

I could put bars on my windows. Does that mean the furniture in my house is nicer than what my neighbor has?

It's pretty much common knowledge that ttown has the better nightlife. I got in to both when transferring from ECU, but Tuscaloosa was a lot more fun when I visited.

I like MOST of the people in AL. But it is soooo boring. I live in Jacksonville, FL and it is a party town compared to AL. And Jax is a pretty boring city for how big it is.

Never been to Birmingham (have no desire to go either). I've heard waaaaaaaay to many bad things about Birmingham (the city at least).

Don't get me wrong, T-Town's only cool because, IMO, it's the perfect place to live if you're in your early 20s, but other than that, I wouldn't want to live there.

actually it's 12>10 but whatevs....

You can't count the 9 that were awarded by the Auburn Gazette. It is amazing how the count went from 1 NC to 10 overnight. Before this is all over you will be back to 1....heehee

Saaaaaaay what? I visited Jacksonville plenty of times (when I lived in Florida) and I thought it was lame. Never could find an awesome party spot unless it was at my friends' apartment.

I went to the mall once...and that was it.

But there the only thing Tuscaloosa has going for it is the bars and the gals.

Never been to Starkville and Auburn's NOT BAD, frick I hang out there all the time and I've banged more Auburn chicks than I have any other college female. It's only slacking in the overall enjoyment department. That's why I say T-Town's better.

If you ever do though hit me up, Ill show you its a great town. Beautiful area too if youre lame and dont party
