We don't need any help making that loss look horrible. That loss last night looked terrible on its own merit. No assistance needed to make it look worse.

That is another situation all its own. It's actually a penalty to play in that game. Something will be done about it the first time someone loses a key player in the SECCG.

It is but it isn’t…there is a big risk/reward to it. Sec champion and a bye the first round….yes the risk could possibly be significant. For example…I can think of a team that had t lost a game in 2 years lost by 3 points in the seccg and was kicked to the curb…guess they should have played better lol

The SECCG is now more of a punishment than it is a reward. It's just an extra game to risk getting your starters hurt. You're trying to make a national championship run.
It will happen. Someone will lose a key player to season ending injury in the SEC Championship, and that will hinder their national championship run. That's when the talk of getting rid of the SECCG will begin.
