Rosegreen said Walker was only looking for negative information.

"(Walker) tried so hard to get me to say something bad about Auburn," said Rosegreen. "He would say, 'off the record...off the record'. He said that about 10 times. I said, 'Fine. You want me to tell you something off the record? Here you go: Stanley is a damn liar.'"

Walker also contacted Jeris McIntyre and Anthony Mix with the same off-the-record requests.

"He kept saying, 'Give me the off-the-record stuff. It will be off the record,'" said McIntyre. "He kept asking me over and over and over questions that were 'off the record'. He really tried to get me to talk bad about Auburn."

Walker is Tim walker, producer of HBO Sports.

When they interviewed McClover's high school coach. They tried to force him into admitting that an AU coach came to his office and forced him to make sure certain recruits came to AU or he would lose his job.....which never happened. They also tricked him into doing an interview by inferring that it was about McClover's life from a poor beginning and all that stuff, and then a few questions in just started hammering him about money from Auburn. That is shady interviewing.

You do realize there isn't only 1 number for auburn that goes to Chizik. They called the university. Not him.

GTFO!

HBO contacted the university and they didn't want any part of it. If Chiz has a gripe it should be with Auburn for not releasing a statement to HBO.

Auburn will be introducing its 3rd mascot this year---the War Ostrich. To symbolize their fans ability to stick their heads in the sand and believe whatever the program tells them to.

Really? How'd they force him? Water torture?

Again.. 8 players from one out of state school is quite a bit for one school to get. And then his outburst against a former player, instead of waiting to hear what the interview was, kinda makes it look like he's got something to hide. He seems to be pretty tight with Auburn and it's coaches. More than his players.

What about all of the Buckeyes that didn't sell memorabilia or get free tattoos? Your argument is pure garbage.

Listen, I'm sure every school has boosters that grease hands of kids too stupid to say no. Most of it is out of the university's control, but I think a lot of it is just flat out ignored.

sorry, but no. School's get pipelines, it happens. It just so happens that we had a staff that knew that area really well and could recruit it very well. When Tubs was here was always had a large number of players from Florida. WVU has a shite ton of players from Lagrange. Thats what a pipeline is.

What, it has to be physical in order to try and force somebody to do something? There are a lot more ways than that to try and get somebody to say something.

How many other coaches blast their former players when they level these kinds of accusations without talking to them first? This guy was more defensive than Au or other players when it first broke. That's very odd for someone coaching at the high school level. It's like he's got a personal investment at Auburn or something.

You make it sound like his school got new practice facilities and new sod for the field from AU.

I didn't say anything about the school. Just noting that it's kinda curious that a high school coach with no ties to Auburn is so defensive about one of his players saying they paid him. You'd think he'd want to know more and talk to him to find out what's going on instead of throwing him under the bus.

Pretty sure Chizik's point was of all the Auburn players contacted, 13 total, they only chose four who were willing to say they rec'd money.

HBO never alleged that every Auburn player receives benefits, only that these 4 did, as admitted by....well......themselves.
