No, I went t UAH (no football, a different division, and still technically UofA). I could understand it though if you grew up a fan of one school, but ended up attending another. I know some people like that that switched.

This is a foreign concept to me. I don’t have a memory of not being a college football and Bama fan. I have childhood memories of ‘73 and ‘74 Notre Dame-Bama games and hating Ara Parseghian. Bennett’s sack of Beurlein in ‘86 at Legion Field was sweet revenge. Bama for life. P.S My second wife grew up in Rome, Georgia in a family of UGA fans, but switched in 2008 after the Bama blackout game. The very definition of sidewalk fan, lol.

Yep. Same, but different schools. Nobody comes before my alma mater, but I’ll still cheer for those other schools as long as it doesn’t affect us.

Never. I may not have attended the institution, but they represent the state that you were born and raised in. You stick with them during the good, bad, or ugly times.
