A&M had to spend exponentially more money than any other school to get people to go to there. You are little brother trying to buy respect and a title. Earn it on merit.

Keep believing we are just throwing money bags to allure these kids. That is the texas-austin strategy. Most these recruits have been on our radar pre-NIL. We sell an entire package as we have a sweet one unlike the majority of the SEC programs right now. $200M just went into addt facility upgrades. Virtually none of you haters has actually been to Kyle Field let alone been allowed to tour of entire football facilities, student athlete housing and facilities, strength & conditioning or any of the academic programs. Yet, you are don't understand how any kid would come here. Really? That is why....you haven't bothered to try to tour the facilities to LEARN. But I don't blame you for that.....have to be a superfan for that.
See us announcing much of anything publicly in an illegal attempt to sway recruits?
Or maybe we were the 1st program to develop a formal NIL program which helps educate our players to maximize there opportunities with private and public businesses. Versus just creating fake charities and making it a PR thing. A&M the University is not directly involved in NIL deals...we simply educate well so our athletes have a great working knowledge of brand value creation.
Our mouths are sealed as the Aggie network is a powerful cult and we are all proud to be included. I can promise you that our players got NIL deal worth far less than many other schools in the Top 10. We don't want players who's sole focus is money,money,money. That creates an entitled culture and internal revolt is the fate of those programs. Jimbo knows we don't want the Ewers of the world. Will some leave to look for NIL money elsewhere? Hell Yes. That simply can't be entirely avoided. But we can minimize it by our evaluation approach, culture within the program, and continual NIL professional education programs to help these kids make better informed choices.
Outsiders will never understand the power we hold or how we sell it. There is a reason why we are losing asst coaches....others think they can buy our secret sauce. The irony is that the sauce is only made in Aggieland.
