When you type "3 deep," are they talented players? Any productive experience? Highly touted recruits?
In 2014, we will have Senior Marlin Lane (good but not great), 5* FR Jalen Hurd (6'3 230lbs and has looked like a monster in practice) and 4* FR Derrell Scott (you know who this is)
Our 2015 stable of RBs has a ton of potential and will be Tennessee's most talented in probably 8 or 9 years at least with Hurd, Kamara, Scott and Paulk.

How do you put A&M in the top level and Arkansas in the second level? That doesn't really make sense at all. A&M's backs may end up being very productive, especially without Manziel taking carries, but statistically they are not on that level yet.

UT will be 3 deep this year with Lane, Hurd, and Scott.
4 deep next year with Hurd, Scott, Kamara, and Paulk. Possibly Reid

Lane is good and Hurd and Scott are legit talents. Will they be good? They're freshmen so who can say, but they have all the physical tools to be really good. Hard to rank UT run game because of that...
...until you remember they replace the whole OL. I'd place the RB corp somewhere solidly in the upper middle tier, but they won't produce much this year thanks to that OL.

That was a great year ... I'm just not sure this year is not going to be better.
I can do SCAR's and UGA's three or four deep off the top of my head. I'd have to look the others-up to go much past one or two deep off the top of my head.
UGA
Marshall
Gurley
Turman
Michel
Chubb
Douglas
LSU (Very damn close to UGA in terms of ... hell, UGA and LSU may have the two best stables of RBs in the country, bar none.)
Hilliard
Magee
Mitchell
Fournette
Williams
SCAR
Davis
Wilds
Carson
Williams
Bama
????? Did I overestimate Bama? ?????
Yeldon
Henry
Arkansas
Collins
Williams
Marshall
Next tier
Florida
Taylor
Jones
Lane
A&M
Carson
Williams
Williams
Auburn ....
????? Did I overestimate Auburn? ?????

rooster you're so silly. Arkansas' 3rd stringer is going to be All-SEC by the time it's over with this year.

I just took a actual good look at the list. He hit #1 on the list with such a perfect bullseye that I overlooked other parts.
IMO it would go more like this.
quote:
UGA
^^^^ Stoutest group of RBs in the country, bar none.
LSU
Bama
SCAR
Arkansas
^^^^ All of those are loaded three or four deep. (With serious talent and experience, not just roster numbers.)
Florida
Tennessee
Auburn
Ole Miss
MSU
TAMU
Mizzou
^^^^ They appear to be at least two deep strong.
Kentucky
Vandy

I do think our OL problems are being overblown somewhat. It's not like we're throwing 5 freshmen out there. Everyone on the line besides Coleman Thomas will be a Junior or older.
Our 2013 OL was fantastic at pass protection but was below average in the running game (see 4th quarter vs Vandy last year)

Goshdamn flagshippers ... quit your fricking whining and name your depth. You should know it off the top of your head. Lazy frick.

Cheshire ... then take a moment and list Arkansas' depth this coming season. I'll amend the OP if necessary. Damn.

That's part of the troll.
Each of Arkansas's three backs (JWill, AC3, KM) would start at the majority of the schools in the SEC.

No way, bro, haven't you been reading the board? CAP is twice the back Tre Mason was and the OL will be even better now that they've got cancer survivor Coleman replacing #2 draft pick Robinson at LT.
Honestly, if it weren't for the system they run, I'd say they're still overrated on my list...

Arkansas:
Alex Collins - 1,026 yards - 5.4 YPC - 4 TD
Jonathan Williams - 900 yards - 6.0 YPC - 4 TD
Korliss Marshall - 146 yards - 8.3 YPC
In comparison to Texas A&M:
Tra Carson - 329 yards - 5.3 YPC - 7 TD
Trey Williams - 407 yards - 7.0 YPC - 6 TD
Brandon Williams - 269 yards - 6.1 YPC - 1 TD
If you're putting A&M in a top tier then you obviously have to put Arkansas.

G-dammit. It wasn't a fricking troll.
Then name your g-damn backs by last name, I don't know nicknames or initials at other programs, or classes, or experience ... you know what, frick it. I'm not in the mood for this sophomoric bullshite today. I need to avoid this bullshite for awhile.

Damn straight. I think while Yeldon has had more time to fumble Douglas may, in fact, have more devastating ones.

Corey Grant and Cameron Artis Payne could both rush for 1000 pretty easily this year. Thomas has a load of talent, but will likely start the season 4th on the depth chart
