Not so much rivals. I didn't like Alabama and UGA people before based on personal interactions (not all obviously) and I still don't enjoy them in the CFB context.
Whereas before I probably never thought much about LSU, since they dominate this board it's a little more fun when they melt - not something I'd ever see in IRL.
I wouldn't know about Arkansas talking shite to Auburn/Gus all the time but for this board. They're kind of on an island so this is the only real interaction I have with their fan base.
I have A&M in laws but I certainly wouldn't have picked up on certain things without this board (latent homosexuality, the desire for Bama's approval, etc.).

The worst LSU fans you'll ever meet show up on this board. That being said, we're all pretty damn good compared to the rest. Yeah, we're all a little giddy right now, but after the season, we'll settle down.
