Kelly would be a damn solid hire for Tennessee. Maybe no other coach in the nation has consistently gotten more out of the talent at-hand than Brian Kelly.

He would make the SEC an even tougher conference.

Kelly is the mastermind who turned GVSU into a DII Powerhouse, rose Central Michigan from the cellar to the MAC Championship in just three years time, and is currently working some serious mojo at Cincy. Though he won't be there long.

Brian Kelly is a great coach. The big question is how well can he recruit? The SEC is tough enough to recruit, not to mention you are surrounded by Saban, Miles, Richt, Meyer, Spurrier, and Butch Davis. With weak HS talent in state, its a tough place. Fulmer made a living recruiting states with down programs (LSU, Bama, Arky, both MS schools). Lately, he hasn't had that luxury.

Kelly is a fine coach and class act. I have said all along that Tennessee should go after him. I have feeling several school will.

"I heard Gruden said he wasen't interested and would'nt even talk to them"

Think that's an excellent statement from "Chucky". He Probably hates hearing "Rocky Top" as much as I do.

"Where Have we heard that before"?

(1) Tubbs The Day before he deserted Ole Miss And headed to Ah-Barn

(2) Rich ROdriquez When recruited by Alabama to be the coach "I'm not leaving West Virginia I'm very happy here" then he gets a Pay raise And runs off to Michigan....

Oh, you mean the coach that embarrassed Alabama? Than left a year later for a historical program in Michigan?
