I've heard him speak twice. The AVP in the company who scheduled him was a diehard Vol.

"You better be right" came from a play when Stabler (I think) was roughed after a pass. Burleson said that for that season, roughing the passer was 10 yards from the spot of the foul. Since the foul happened 10 yards behind the line of scrimmage, after they assessed the penalty, they put the ball back at the original LOS. Bryant sent a player directly to Burleson who said, "The Coach wants to talk to you." After Burleson explained the rules, Bryant said, "You better be right." Burleson claims CPB as a friend, but I scarcely doubt there was any Les Miles man love going on in that particular situation.

It's a decent book SEC fans should read.

Not asking for any of this, but situations like this must be fixed. Because it has turned the SEC into a laughingstock. Just watch ESPN. Its not targeted at any school its the conference itself. If its not fixed and fixed soon it will eventually hurt every school. We have the best and most powerful conference is college sports history. We should have the best officiating to go along with it.

no one will care once the story is gone and we let it rest for 3 months. It wont change the out come of the game but all the sec has to do is man up and say they fricked LSU out of a chance. fire burleson and hodges and prevent this from happening again by making sure someone with that many ties isn't in any position to influence any possible call.

the sec could make this all go away if they admit they were wrong. a simple apology and 2 corrupt/incompetent guys fired and it goes away. the no comments and not owning up to clear video evidence only fuels what has gone on for the last 5 days.

lets try refs that know how to fricking use replay and not frick up clear calls when using replay.
