Yes *but* I seriously think that the vast majority of that came after his college days. His early days in the pros the coverage was just non-stop. Tebow was someone I said during his college days was a fantastic College QB and one of the most best of his era (and believe me it pained me to say that) even though I never thought he'd make a great pro there was no doubt in my mind he was one of the GOAT college QBs in terms of impact -- unstoppable in so many ways. While he was hyped like hell as a college QB, he never really got on my nerves until the media went mad once he was drafted. That wasn't really any of his fault but the national media knew that Tebow was was media moneymaker as a pro and wayyyyyy overhyped him.

Only players who have actually won something. Cam , Johny football and Tebow all got more attention from fans but they won the Heismen and 2 of them won a national championship. Four netted is one of the most over hyped players in college football.
