Fair and unbiased sports reporting?

More like more politicking for an easier opponent for LSU.

Get that shite out of here!

If OSU does get in, how great it would be if they won - I wouldnt mind seeing the streak end in this case.

And the LSU win would be much sweeter knowing this.

Jay Walker is anti-LSU. His crowd is the UL-L crowd and he has to please the masses.

And, remember, when OSU takes back #2 in the computers Saturday, they'll only need about 25% of voters to put them ahead of Alabama, and they're in.

As they should be.

I will have no problem with OSU making it in. It'll just show how weak that conference really is. The Sugar Bowl would be sufficient for me.

I agree. I'm honestly indifferent about in or out. OSU will get their arse handed to them a platter and it will solidify SEC dominace for years to come. OSU needs more than "A MAN" to beat this LSU team.

I've been knowing Jay for a long time. He hates LSU and would love nothing more than for LSU to not win the national title. But he is also a knowledgable sports fan and reputable voter.

By the way, HE HATES LSU.

This is how I felt until I finally got enough of the corndog rantards on here talking more shite about that 3 point OT win than we are talking about the 42-14 beat down we laid in the Iron Bowl. Plus the constant "Alabama WILL NOT play LSU in New Orleans" bullshite. I had enough and now I want nothing more than sweet revenge to shut them the frick up.

Settle down. You realize this is an anonymous message board? You realize none of us have any power to control the votes? You realize none of us actually play the games?

Put it in perspective. Bama says they are a lock. LSU says not yet. Bottom line is we'll all find out Sunday.

I get that and you've got a point. But I just can't past the loss to Iowa State. If they were ranked in the top 25, then I'd have the opinion that any team can slip up and get beat. But Iowa State is not a good team on either side of the ball. They were a 21 pt underdog. If you wanna claim that you're one of the top 2 teams in the country and should play for a NC, then a loss like that is unacceptable IMO.

beating 2 ranked opponents, then, should also be unacceptable. IMO of course.

6 wins over ranked opponents and a bad loss

OR

2 wins over ranked opponents and a loss to a great taem

Im just saying that I agreed with him at one point, but the idiocy that was running rampant on this board until Ice Cold put it to a stop finally changed my mind.

And it would make coonass heads explode if Bama walked in at the last minute and stole the NC and the undefeated season.

Well hell yeah...of course it would. That's the whole point...We already beat you and IMO you don't get another chance to frick up our season. We've already checked you off the "to-do" list.

Are you referring to the gumps, corndogs or both?

I'm curious because you act like Bama fans are the definition of humility.

I'd obviously be disappointed as an LSU fan....but that kind of would prove my point. There is NO WAY to know for certain that OSU isn't the best team in the country unless you let them play LSU/Bama (in this case, obviously LSU).

There's simply no other way to know than subjective conjecture. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I truly believe LSU and Alabama are the two best teams in the country. But considering Alabama already had a chance against LSU and lost and also considering that there is a chance, albeit small, that OSU may very well indeed be the best team in the country, IMO you have to give them a shot at LSU.

How can we give Alabama a SECOND chance at #1 before we give OSU their FIRST shot at #1?
