The AU DB is lucky he did'nt break his own neck on his spear to K. Parker. It's never called but he did drop the crown of his helmet and led with his head.

Is Onterio McCaleb concious yet? Somebody better tell him he's 150 lbs soaking wet. He reminds me of a Terry Bowden recruit.

Great game. Clemson dominated the LOS on both sides of the ball. Newton and Auburn's veteran FG kicker was the difference. Had Parker not gotten hurt, I think Clemson wins. Just a brutal hard fought game. /salute

That's where we got in trouble last year. The first four games the running game was Tate between the tackles and OMac on the edge where his speed could get him loose. In the Tenn game last year they started trying to run Mac into the teeth of the defense and he got pounded and hurt, wasn't the same really the rest of the year. Looks like they have gone back to that mentality this year.

PJ Fanin is important to AU IMO. If he can be relied upon not to fumble and can keep his shoulder healthy then he will give AU a veteran RB to take the load off of Newton. Those are big IF's.

I am definitely voting for LSU-Auburn 06. I'm sure the players can STILL feel that one.

They definitely outplayed us and their DL dominated our OL, however their OL was weak and they knew it. They couldn't do anything running straight at us, but absolutely killed us on draws, screens, and misdirections.

I agree. We definately need him as the "thunder" back in a thunder and lightning attack - at least until Dyer gets some experience and all.

Also our defense is fast, but that can be turned against us. Clemson did last night what the ESPN announcers were saying MSU should have done last week - run misdirection and cutbacks to get the defense moving one way and then cut back behind them.

LSU/Florida in 2007 was pretty physical.

Not pretty...extremely physical. AU and Clem last night was a snot-knocker too.

OMac was fine after the game. Trooper was joking about him getting knocked out. He will be back today

It looks like Green has a broken leg. Not good for him.

LSU/Auburn 2006 followed very closely by LSU/Florida 2007
