An MLB player couldn't put the ball down for a single dribble without being pick pocketed by even the worst NBA guards. Basketball is the hardest sport to become good at. Mostly because the other team can exploit you every single play on both sides of the court. Not the same for baseball.

No, it isn't.

No baseball is hardest, in my opinion but no baseball player would be a serviceable starter in the NBA and vice versa.

Any Basketball player could be DH'd for. So it would be easy to play baseball.

Is NBA basketball the most elite group in the world? There are only 30 teams, 15 max roster spots (not all typically full), and the rest of the professional or minor leagues are shite by comparison. Also consider the fact the last 5-7 people on the bech probably barely play.

An MLB player could sub for any starting player on any team in the NBA and their stat line would be 0's across the board with 5 fouls in about 5 minutes of play because they couldn't guard anyone they played against. An NBA player could step in and play outfield and may never have the ball hit to them all game.
An NBA player would be almost useless offensively, but serviceable defensively in baseball. An MLB player would be useless in all phases of the game.

I agree, Obviously the guy is arguing out of ignorance, I've never personally had a 95 mph baseball directed at my head from 60 feet but I feel confident saying that is quite a bit more terrifying than anything that exists in basketball or football.
I'm in no rush to get crushed by a 300 pound lineman but at least I know that wouldn't kill me.
I'm not saying mlb players go to the plate in fear but there's a reason high and tight pitches get used, and why batters don't like pitchers who use them.

60 feet sir. 90 feet is base paths... So 95 mph from 60'6" gives you the time of a snap to make a judgement. Swing or not. Snap your fingers, that is literally how quick you have to decide where to put the bat and swing.

Josh Hamilton would have been a bad arse linebacker.

They wouldn't be serviceable defensively.
