We are slaughtering the Sport right now. It is a perfect Basketball/Olympic Sports Due when April arrives.
Someone has to win these fricking Titles!

This is for historic reasons… most Texas schools don’t sponsor gymnastics despite being home to the best Elite gyms in the nation (imagine Texas with all its HS football talent but no college football programs). Historically, this has sth to do with conference affiliation such as PAC12 and SEC and the old SWC. It’s all based on conferences and that’s the reason why Arkansas has a gymnastics program. They started their gymnastics program when they joined the SEC…
You can read more about it here:
There are two reasons for this. The first reason has to do with the history of Texas college football. The second reason is behavioral differences between the athletic programs of Texas schools and the rest of the nation.

They have a decent club gymnastics team though and this could eventually lead to TAMU starting a NCAA gymnastics program in the future. Clemson is now starting its new gymnastics program and it’s already creating some buzz…

It's incredible to me that Georgia has gone from one of the top gymnastics programs in the country with 10 national championships to last place in the SEC. I see a coaching change on the horizon.

I can't believe that we didn't bitch about that more, haha.
Auburn is too nice sometimes.

This isn’t directly related to gymnastics, but do they serve beer at Auburn Arena? We’re headed to the finals tomorrow evening, so I’m curious about options. My feeling is they don’t have beer, but I’ve been trying to figure it out for sure all week.

You can buy beer by the gallon if you bring a clean water jug to certain gas stations close to Auburn Mall.
Wink wink.
They pour it from a tap, and it is cheap.
It is a gas station/liquor store. Go back to your car and "rehydrate", then come back in. Auburn is very cool with things during sport events. No hard drugs, though.
