Softball yes. Gymnastics is going to be a dog fight between Oklahoma, LSU and Florida. LSU has almost every person back from the national championship. And the pressure is off them now that they won one. Should be fun.

I think OU will have a tougher row to hoe in softball this season than in gymnastics. We shall see.

We just won 4 ncs and everyone thinks there will be fall off. OU doesnt have down years in softball hardly ever. Per average OU has either been number 1 or 2 in recruiting for the last 5 years. Some years we take more recruits and some less . Just to show you what your up against is in 2025 OU has the number 1,2,3,5, 12, and 16th recruits in the country. We also cherry picked whoever we wanted this offseason. Until someone beats OU in the NC, OU will always be the favorite. I dont care about preseason polls I am sure some think UF will be favored this year and they might but people who know softball know OU will be a force this year too. We also played in a top heavy league in the big 12 with 3 teams always making world series runs. Ok state Texas and OU. sec is deeper but the level of teams that can beat OU consistently isnt.
