It's really no different than bama fans "claiming" Jimbo is from saban's tree........when Jimbo spent more time under Terry Bowden, whose forte is offense.

He went to Florida and failed and didn’t learn until he coached under Gus

Just realized Gus has never had a losing season in his 12 years at the collegiate level. 6 as offensive coordinator and 6 as head coach. Head coaching record is 54-25 (all but 1 year is at AU)

He’s also the only coach good enough, to get Arkansas to a sec championship game

Does anyone really not believe Gus taught Muschamp how to be a real head coach by now

Sure....he spent more time at Auburn under Terry Bowden than he did under Nick Saban at LSU. But who influenced him more? I'd say the answer to that is easily Nick Saban:

FSU President: "He wanted to model things after Nick Saban"

The reason why people claim Jimbo Fisher as being a part of Saban's coaching tree is because the man does everything he can to emulate what Saban does with his program.

You left out the part about Fisher playing for Terry Bowden in college and coaching under Terry at Samford.........all of this was before Auburn.

ETA So Jimbo wanted an open checkbook like sabana has? That is where you get that he learned how to coach from saban?

He failed at UF, Gus rehabbed him at AU, and now Muschamp has turned USCe around. Whats the problem?

Bobby...he was his idol and the reason he went to Auburn, FSU, and Samford. Yes I know Bobby didn’t coach at AU of Samford. But Bobby told him to go there under his mentorship and Jimbo listened. He also spent most offseason with Bobby during those times at camps as well.

He went to Terry because that’s where Bobby told him to go. So while he may be unders Terry’s tree as well, Daddy B was the catalyst.
