Alabama always ranks in the lower half of college football for opponent penalty yards. Meaning, Alabama's opponents are less likely to have penalty yards when playing Alabama.
This year right now Alabama ranks 102. Last year in the 80s. Some years in the past, like 2016, 2017 - dead fricking last, 128.
That's why the narrative that it wasn't about the amount of penalties, it's when the penalties happen is always what people claimed.

I did not I made it about another 20 minutes after the quantum physics comments (which I'm still not sure what I meant, but it made sense in the moment) before falling asleep
